How long does it take to set up?
Allow around an hour set up times.
 
Do you have Public Liability?
Yes, The Disco Party Machine is covered by a £10 million Public Liability policy. Whoever you book for your event always make sure they are covered or the party organiser will be liable.
 
Do you have PAT tested equipment
Yes, Most venues require a PAT certified disco installation. Without this the disco will not be able to go ahead.
 
Why do prices vary so much between DJs?
It really does come down to the old cliché you get what you pay for. Some Djs see discos as a bit of a hobby and a bit of extra money, others see it as their business, livelihood and profession. Check whether the cheaper Djs have invested in Public Liability and have PAT tested equipment. These are important, but are often overlooked, hence the difference in price. The organiser of a function could be held liable in an event if the DJ does not have insurance. Protect yourself by booking a disco with PLI. TDPM is insured up to £10 Million pounds and has an annual PAT certificate.
 
What happens if the equipment breaks down?
TDPM carry two of all the important items. Two amplifiers, a multitude of lights and two computers to play the music from, so we have back up to ensure all goes smoothly.
 
What is involved in the Wedding Disco Consultation?
This is an invitation to meet on various occasions if need be to discuss the planning of your wedding disco. It could be to discuss the music, any presentations, the lighting, the schedule of your event or anything else that is important to you. This is a free service when you book TDPM for your wedding.
